Job Description

The Background:

Unique interim opportunity to join this employer choice has just arisen covering two locations, London and Surrey. The Global Mobility Manager will manage one other Global Mobility Advisor, predominantly dealing with the end-to-end assignment management of assignees on a global basis. In addition the Global Mobility Manager will manage the implementation of a new global mobility policy from start-to-finish.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full assignment process from start to finish including:

  • Manage, coach and mentor one Global Mobility Advisor
  • End to end assignment management of assignees worldwide including senior level moves
  • Liaise with various business units regarding the inherent implications of international assignment, compensation and taxation issues across the organisation
  • Revise and develop international assignment policy and procedure
  • Review compensation packages for assignees on a global basis
  • Review current operations to improve current process efficiency and performance

The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous experience within the field of: international assignments, global mobility or expatriate management. Applicants will have a good understanding of the assignment lifecycle from start-to-finish including expatriate compensation and taxation methodologies. Previous experience analyzing and creating new expatriate policy and procedure would be preferable.
