Weichert Relocation Resources has announced that Mike Cahill has joined the company as vice-president, business development.

In his new role, Mr Cahill will develop new business opportunities throughout the eastern United States.

Mike Cahill has 27 years of experience in all aspects of corporate workforce mobility, and is known for his client-centric, consultative approach to developing unique workforce mobility solutions.

As part of its planned expansion, Reading-based House of Fisher, one of the largest operators of premium serviced apartments in the South East, has appointed a new business development manager.

Ruth Ralphs will be responsible for developing and identifying new business opportunities, developing existing client relationships and accounts, driving and increasing revenues, and encouraging referral activity.

Global relocation company AIReS has promoted Sarah Beck to the position of account manager at its West Coast regional office in Huntington Beach, California.

Ms Beck joined the company in 2005 as a programme manager, and became client service manager in 2008.

In 2010, she relocated from AIReS’s corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh to the West Coast regional office, assuming the role of operations manager.

Global mobility and relocation specialist Crown Relocations has promoted David Hollins to the post of regional general manager for the UK and Ireland. He will be based in the company's South Ruislip office.

Mr Hollins, who has worked for Crown since 1995 in a variety of management roles, most recently as regional general manager for the southern region, will now be responsible for increasing the company’s revenue across a variety of sectors.

David Hollins worked at Crown's Wellington office, in New Zealand, before relocating to the Philippines and China, and finally returning to the UK.

Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living has appointed Hendrik Engel as operations director.

Mr Engel has experience from across the luxury hotel and travel sector. Over the past 15 years, he has held leadership roles across many international hotels, including Nikko Hotel International, Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, The Dorchester Collection, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, and Kempinski.
