Brits Abroad: the exodus continues

Latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) suggests that some five hundred Britons are leaving the UK for abroad every day, with Australia, Spain and France the most popular destinations. Meanwhile, the estimated number of immigrations to the UK is an average of 1,500 people per day, with some 92,000 people coming from India, 78,000 from Australia and 69,000 from Poland.

Whereas many migrants to the UK said they planed to stay for a couple of years, more than 40% of those leaving the country implied that they were planning on doing so for good.
