The International School of London (ISL) Surrey hosted a networking event on Friday 17 May 2013, centred on the examination of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and its value in an increasingly globally mobile business world. Delegates, ranging from parents of children at the school considering the IB as a higher education option to relocation professionals hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the IB programme, gathered to hear some fascinating insights into how the IB programme could help to prepare the global leaders of the future.
International School of London (ISL) Surrey, Languages Team were thrilled to collect their Re:locate Award for Excellence in Employee and Family Support on Thursday 9th May at the annual black-tie Re:locate Gala Awards Dinner held at London’s Institute of Directors.
At the 32nd Annual Conference of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), leading education expert Professor Mick Waters outlined his vision of the future for international education and how British international schools could help to develop and encourage the notion of 'true global citizenship'. Rebecca Marriage reports from the conference, which took place from 11 to 13 May.
