Survey looks at earnings
Good news for HR and those working in relocation roles, which generally fall under the ‘compensation and benefits’ banner: the Employee Benefits Salary Survey, conducted by the Hay Group UK, reveals salaries have risen by 40% in the compensation and benefits field between 1998 and 2006. This compares favourably with the rest of HR, where salaries increased by 30% over the same period. The median base salary for a compensation and benefits manager was £57,609, as at 1 October 2006.
