HIPs WILL happen – and Connells meets the challenge

A new update from Connells Relocation Services answers some of the key questions the new HIPs policy will pose when it is introduced on June 1 2007. The debate in the press rumbles on as to whether they’ll be a shortage of Domestic Energy Assessors to carry out the Energy Performance Certificate checks. The Connells Group and LSL Property Services has recently launched www.energy-assessors.com, a join venture that aims to offer a professional and cost effective service in the supply of EPCs; “We are confident that we can have a HIP in place without delay so that marketing of properties can commence as quickly as possible.”
