HIPs roll-out to go ahead mid-December

The government has announced that, from December 14th 2007, every person selling their home in England and Wales will be required to have a housing information pack (HIP), which may cost them up to £500. Property experts have warned that the cost and hassle of providing a HIP may result in a further stalling of the UK's property market.
