HIPs roll-out to go ahead mid-December
The government has announced that, from December 14th 2007, every person selling their home in England and Wales will be required to have a housing information pack (HIP), which may cost them up to £500.

The government has confirmed that all properties three bedrooms and over, will need a HIPS pack with effect from the 10th September. They also confirmed that there were enough energy assessors nationally and regionally to cover the workload.
