The Psychology of Success by Judith Leary-Joyce

The Re:locate Awards are all about achievement. That's why, as part of our commitment to supporting you in the work you do, we're offering every organisation that enters this year's awards a free copy of The Psychology of Success, the latest book by Judith Leary-Joyce, author of Inspirational Manager and Becoming an Employer of Choice and MD of Great Companies Consulting.

Judith believes that being successful isn't about finding that one dream job or that defining moment of glory – it's about taking on and accomplishing major challenges, not just once, but time and time again. Subtitled Secrets of Serial Achievement, The Psychology of Success explores the Five Fundamentals that drive personal success and outlines the Seven Success Behaviours that make the most of core talent.

The programme outlined in this book provides exceptional support for your high performers and serial achievers. They'll learn about themselves and their route to success, define the core talent that will enable them to undertake different roles within your company, and refine their ability to live the Success Behaviours on a daily basis.

When we receive your entry for the Re:locate Awards 2009/10, we'll send you a free copy of this inspiring book, so that you can carry on the good work and build on your successes. (Terms and conditions apply – one copy per organisation.)

Judith Leary-Joyce

Jusith Leary-Joyce With a background in psychology and as managing director of a major training centre in London, Judith moved into business consultancy, working globally with senior leaders and managers. Her commitment to people and workplace culture led her to spend a year with Great Place to Work UK during the production of the 2002 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the Sunday Times, to develop her understanding of what makes a company great. In the course of that work, she visited a number of the great companies in both the UK and the USA.

This experience, plus many conversations with a wide range of senior leaders from 'great' to 'difficult' cultures, focused her thinking and led her to set up Great Companies Consulting, to support companies in building workplaces that make a positive contribution to the life of employees whilst being successful in the market place. This expertise informed her first book, Becoming an Employer of Choice. In 2004, she wrote Inspirational Manager, which led many middle and senior managers to review their style and ways of working, producing improved business results. Her latest book, The Psychology of Success, was published recently.
