news

The International School of London has acquired the Prins Willem-Alexander school (PWAS) in Woking. Founded in 1981 and catering mainly for Dutch and Belgian families living in Surrey, PWAS is a Dutch primary school offering the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). It will continue to offer the existing Dutch-based programme for the remainder of the current academic year and for the 2009/10 academic year. From September 2009, International School – Surrey (ISL – Surrey) will offer English-medium instruction in parallel with the Dutch stream at PWAS. ISL – Surrey will admit pupils of all nationalities and language backgrounds and will follow the IPC. From September 2010, both streams will converge into one school, ISL – Surrey, and the whole curriculum will be taught in English following the IPC.
