Demand for serviced accommodation is still strong, but users are now much more cost conscious, taking the time to shop around to find a good deal, according to Flexi Apartments.
Says Carole Charge, director of Flexi Apartments, “We know that executives who have to stay away for more than a night or two have a distinct preference for serviced apartments. This is because they not only offer a comfortable, home-from-home environment but are also more cost-effective than hotels. However, companies are naturally looking to save money wherever possible and are seeking the best deals on serviced accommodation.
“We are finding that it is becoming more common for our corporate clients to take time to compare the rates and quality of the various providers and only choose those that offer the best of both.
“The current economic climate means that good discounts are available for those booking longer stays, and various other incentives are on offer, so those choosing serviced apartments are now getting even more value for money.”
