Keep abreast of new legislation!
Employers should be aware that, from April 6th, the right to request flexible working was extended to include carers of adults. This is bound to have a knock-on effect for anyone responsible for planning relocation moves, where employees will have the right to demand flexibility – not just if they have the needs of children to consider, but if they’re looking after elderly or disabled relations, too.
