ISL Surrey receives high praise from International Baccalaureate Organisation

ISL Surrey has been approved by the International Baccalaureate Organisation to offer the IB Diploma.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation has authorised the International School of London (ISL) Surrey to offer the IB Diploma making forty commendations about the school.ISL Surrey is already well-known for its extensive ‘mother tongue’ languages programme – in fact ISL Surrey won the Re:locate Award in 2013 in the Excellence in Employee and Family Support category for their work in language support for relocating families.The IBO gave the school high praise for its, “clear commitment to and passion for the IB philosophy, the importance the school places on language learning and development and commitment to international-mindedness within the school and as an integral part of the curriculum.”Headmaster Dr Jim Doran thanked the school team for their time, hard work and commitment during the two-year authorisation process. “The experience of our team shone through in the many authorisation report commendations,” he said. “We are delighted that we are joining our sister ISL schools in London and Qatar as an IB World School and we look forward to graduating outstanding IB Diploma students in 2017.”
