Using an online agent can simplify the selling process and for those looking to relocate this will be the prime benefit above any potential cost savings, which providers claim are significant compared to the high-street competition, writes Joanne Hunter.
From packing up and shipping out all your belongings to saying farewell to friends and family, relocating for professional purposes can be a very difficult and trying time.
And when the moving process involves the selling or letting of your existing property, you are faced with yet another complex task to complete, hopefully before you leave for your new destination.
But rather than going through the usual rigmarole of finding a letting or selling agent that offers a competitive rate, an option that can speed up and simplify the entire process is to sell or let your home through an online estate agent.
It’s a logical solution. After all, these days, most people thinking of moving turn to the web as their first port of call to research the market.
