Ascott unveils new serviced apartments in Paris

The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has unveiled its Citadines Prestige Les Halles Paris facility, following a €5 million investment into a renovation programme to upgrade the property to a ‘Prestige’ serviced residence.

The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has unveiled its Citadines Prestige Les Halles Paris&#x;facility, following a &#x;5 million investment into a renovation programme to upgrade the property to a &#x;Prestige&#x; serviced residence.Situated at the heart of Les Halles, a vibrant district in Paris busy with theatres, museums, boutiques and bistros, Citadines Prestige Les Halles Paris comprises 134 studios and 55 two-room apartments.Sofa beds in all studios have been replaced with a double or twin beds, and facilities include a flatscreen TV and complimentary wired and wireless broadband internet access.As part of the renovation, Ascott has introduced energy-saving devices to help protect the environment. These include water-saving mechanisms in the kitchens and bathrooms.British architects BuckleyGrayYeoman were commissioned to create a more contemporary and comfortable residence for the Paris property following their successful redesign of some of the London Citadines properties.Ascott has transformed six Citadines properties into Citadines Prestige properties, and will soon offer three in London &#x; Holborn-Covent Garden, South Kensington and Trafalgar Square (scheduled to launch early 2012) &#x;and three in Paris &#x; Les Halles joins Op&#x;ra Vend&#x;me and Saint-Germain-des-Pr&#x;s.&#x;
