The British Association of Removers (BAR) has announced a new partnership with Which?, the UK’s largest consumer body, and its Trusted Trade scheme.The new arrangement will support consumers in making informed decisions about hiring reputable, professional and safe movers.Under the new agreement, BAR member companies can join the Which? Trusted Trader endorsement scheme and website, and benefit from dual recognition from the industry and consumer bodies.Just as BAR membership commits members to its code of practice, designed to protect and promote consumers’ interests beyond the basic requirements of the law, Which? scheme members are similarly bound by its Trusted Traders’ code of conduct and commitment to improving business and customer care standards.Stephen McCluskey, MD of Which?
