Illustrating the depth of innovation and good practice in this sector, immigration service providers also topped two other categories, Best HR & Supplier Strategy or Team and Excellence in Employee & Family Support.Said Immigration Team judge Gordon Kerr, director of law firm Morton Fraser's Employee Mobility Unit, "The main challenge in selecting a winner was the consistently high quality of the entries, which were submitted by leading firms from a range of legal jurisdictions. Particularly strong entries were received from India, Russia and Sweden, but ultimately it was the UK entry from Dearson Winyard [DWI] that most impressed the judges."A key aspect of DWI's success was the inclusion of concise and relevant evidence to support each element of their submission."The DWI team works with multinational organisations, SMEs and overseas entrepreneurs to facilitate the UK immigration application process. Explaining the reasons behind its success, director Darren Faife highlights the core value of utmost good faith. "It's a simple business maxim that is often neglected, but at DWI it defines everything we stand for. It is a beacon to drive development and improvement."A focus on service improvement, along with open communication, is supported across the business. From a rolling monthly, board-level-led feedback programme and regular staff surveys to the preparation of plain-English pro forma and guides on the latest government guidance notes, knowledge, expertise and feedback are shared, not just internally but also with individual applicants and corporate clients. The firm's approach, twice accredited by the International Organization for Standardization, in what were both firsts for the sector, has led to impressive feedback. In the last 12 months, client satisfaction ratings have averaged over 96 per cent. Staff survey results are equally positive. One of many offering glowing comments to support the entry was Mima Hillier, MD of TTH Relocations. "Their seamless processes, quick response times, and willingness to assist make working with them extremely easy. DWI's ability to deliver the required services comes down to the excellent competency of the individuals in the organisation."
The firm won't be resting on its laurels. Darren Faife promises further innovations, including a new online customer portal, DWILive, which will enable clients to access and upload information relevant to their applications."The best-possible customer experience is at the core of our corporate philosophy," says Mr Faife. "DWILive provides clients with the ability to enquire, initiate applications, monitor case progress, and generate activity reports, at the click of a button and regardless of geography or time zone."Just as importantly, assignees benefit from a hugely improved immigration experience, without the frustrating constraints often associated with managing cross-border and international communications."For more Re:locate news and features about immigration, click hereFor further information about Dearson Winyard International, visit:
