This collates and reports on all areas of expatriate compensation, thereby ensuring that accurate data is available to meet reporting requirements and financial liabilities and enabling companies to maintain compliance with local business regulations and tax laws.GDC can aggregate and clean data from any number of sources, including relocation vendors, local payrolls, and corporate systems.PwC, the judges said, had tackled the very complex global areas of responsibility for HR, finance and audit for its expatriate workforce, and had invested a considerable amount of time and money with key clients to deliver comprehensive financial, tax and reporting tools."Managing a global workforce introduces complexities that are not present with domestic employees," explains Alex Rubin, PwC's Mobility Services Technology director in the US, "and today's compliance-driven and cost-sensitive environment has increased the need for companies to tighten their global compensation and reporting capabilities."He adds, "Global expatriate populations often receive payments in multiple locations through different sources. Jurisdictions are aggressively seeking additional revenue sources, often increasing audit costs and penalties for companies. Home, host and worldwide income payroll and tax-return filing requirements are increasing in complexity, and organisations are demanding the ability to analyse payment information for cost management purposes. GDC addresses all these challenges."Said Andrew Williams, of PwC's Global Mobility Technology team, who collected the trophy, "The Re:locate award reflects the hard work and effort the PwC team puts into technology solutions. We were very privileged to be nominated and very happy to be a winner."Speaking later, Alex Rubin said, "We are thrilled to win the award from Re:locate. It means a lot to us."
