European stars shine at Relocate Awards 2014/15

Mainland Europe was well represented among the Relocate Awards 2014/15 winners, who received their stunning crystal trophies at a gala dinner held in the elegant surroundings of the Institute of Directors, in London’s Pall Mall, in May.

The dinner was attended by nearly 200 guests from across the international corporate relocation sector, including HR, global managers and suppliers.This year's 12 categories recognised, between them, HR and service providers, with awards for technological innovation, HR teams, talent management, HR and supplier partnerships, relocation service providers, property, financial support, immigration, health and wellness, employee support, and destination services providers.The entries reflected the new sectors and specialists arriving on the scene as the number of disciplines involved in global mobility increases in response to growing complexity and globalisation.The Immigration Team of the Year category attracted a large number of submissions, demonstrating the importance of immigration to the global political and business agenda. Entrants included corporate immigration teams and specialist service providers. The Technological Innovation in Relocation category was also well supported, reflecting the huge demand for technological innovation across the global mobility spectrum.Sapient Corporation, acquired earlier this year by French multinational communications and holding company Publicis Groupe, was joint winner of the Inspirational HR Team of the Year award. Moscow-based Intermark Relocation, a first-time entrant, was named Relocation Service Provider of the Year. Paris-headquartered Management Mobility Consulting, this year's Best International Destination Services Provider, is no stranger to Re:locate Awards success, having won the same category in 2012/13."It has been encouraging to see the quality of entries, and the number of submissions from Europe and around the world, rising from year to year," says Fiona Murchie, managing editor of Re:locate."Clearly, the need for the full range of global mobility services is gaining momentum as more and more companies embrace new international markets.
