Best Research Contribution

This award is for contributions to mobility research. Teams and/or individuals who demonstrate innovative research contributions which have practical implications that impact and contribute to advancement of knowledge/ theory should apply.

You don't need to be managing domestic or international assignments to enter this category.

Perhaps you're involved in talent management or resourcing, working with other internal departments (for example: reward, learning and development) and/or external suppliers as part of a wider team managing or supporting mobility. Research carried out to support an organisational mobility initiative could be appropriate.

Entry is also open to academic researchers investigating any aspect of mobility with studies/research published in either academic or practitioner journals/reports.

You may be part of a mobility organisation producing surveys and research reports for clients/practitioner use.

You may also be involved in a cross-disciplinary research initiative or part of an academic-practitioner research team. You might also have conducted a research project as part of your training and development/ professional qualifications.

Entrants should explain:

  • The contribution made by their research to relocatees/employees/families, and to the organisation as a whole
  • Evidence such as testimonials from across the organisation and its customer base, as well as from other relevant sources, will be accepted
  • The entry may be completed by a third party

The judges will be looking for proof of consistently high standards and an innovative research approach.
