UK start-ups’ global aspirations

Perkbox’s Paris-based team will initially be sales-focused. The company’s tech team will remain fully in the UK, but as the company expands and rolls new products it says it will look to expand the tech team in these new territories. The company’s expansion into France comes at a key moment in discussions around the UK’s future trading relationships with the European Union. Nevertheless, Perkbox believes its move signifies the strength of the UK’s start-up community and its global aspirations. “Our HQ will remain in the UK (in London) we also have two UK offices, one in London and one in Sheffield, and have recently doubled the size of our tech team and hired a new CTO, ex-head of mobile at Yahoo!,” said Alexandra Sanpera, head of PR at Perkbox.“We are proud to be part of the UK start-upcommunity evidencing, how despite the Brexit fears, UK companies can still succeed.” Head to the Human Resources section for more news and insight.
