International SOS provides travel advice to and from Brussels

Xavier Carn, Regional Security Director at International SOS and Control Risks, provides travel advice to and from Brussels following the attacks.

Brussels, Belgium
International SOS is advising travellers in the city to minimise movement and to follow instructions from the local authorities.Travellers in Brussels should be vigilant for further incidents, and prepare for significant disruption, as transport hubs and public places are subject to sudden closures for security reasons and transport services are temporarily suspended for security reasons.Travellers across western Europe, particularly in major cities, should also be vigilant, and be prepared for additional disruption arising from false reports in the coming days. Travel managers should account for staff that are in, or due to travel to, Belgium today, and be prepared to amend their itineraries at short notice in the event of further incidents. For travel and security advice from the UK foreign office, click here.
