Accredited by the Council of International Schools, GIS provides high quality, holistic British-based curriculum with a unique innovative teaching and learning culture for students aged 3 to 18 years. Students benefit from both ‘taught curriculum’ that is delivered within the classroom and the ‘wider curriculum’ that takes place outside of the classroom such as co-curricular activities (CCA), camps, Discovery Week, the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, recreational sports, Sports Academy, and Community Service. The curriculum is designed to bring out the best potential in every learner. Our students graduate equipped with various skills and knowledge to succeed in life and make a positive impact in the community.

An added dimension to learning at EYC is our Jungle School programme. This is a hands-on programme based on the ‘Forest Schools’ approach in Europe, that enables children to take managed risks and become actively involved in their immediate natural environment.

Jungle School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment. The “Jungle School” concept is really at the centre of the outside of the classroom learning.

Throughout their time at EYC, our young learners have opportunities to follow their interests and take ownership over their learning. This is encouraged through providing first-hand experiences to create a sense of awe and wonder about the world around them.
