From preschool to 12th grade, our passionate and driven team of educators engages our students with a values-driven education focused on academic excellence. Our students develop character, creativity, personal leadership and entrepreneurial skills necessary to become future global citizens and world leaders.
GEMS World Academy - Chicago is part of the GEMS Education network and we believe that education is a powerful catalyst to change the world for the better. Our mission is to put quality education within reach of every child and, for over 50 years, we have provided that dream for hundreds of thousands of children.

Academic Results:
Students in GEMS schools around the world continue to perform above the international averages in the International Baccalaureate for both average scores per student and the percentages of students passing the IB Diploma. For all of GEMS schools, the pass rate is 5% above international averages (83%). Graduates of GEMS schools have secured placement in some of the world's top colleges and universities, including Harvard University, the University of Chicago and Oxford University.
