Kent College Pembury is a leading independent day and boarding school for girls aged 3- 18 set in a beautiful 75 acre rural location just outside of Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent, yet only 40 mins from Central London by train. Starting in the Early Years, Kent College provides a nurturing, warm environment for girls to embrace their love of learning and opens up a world they can discover whilst learning to push their boundaries and challenge themselves. This lies at the heart of the school’s ethos and continues through to the Prep and Senior School as girls grow, develop and contend with exams and academia. The Sciences, Maths, Classics and the Arts are all popular subjects and the school has a strong reputation for the high standard of its Performing Arts and the quality of its sports facilities with a second brand new sports hall recently built, fitness suite, swimming pool, gymnastics academy and all-weather pitch planned for construction in Autumn 2016.

Every year girls progress to top University destinations to study a wealth of courses from architecture to Chemistry, Fashion to Classics and recent leavers are leading their peers with international careers such as aeronautical engineering, veterinary science, music, mensware fashion and pharmaceuticals.

Our girls are ambitious and work hard, but they also love to play hard with exciting trips, excursions and enrichment opportunities including charitable missions to Nepal to work at our sister school; Classics trips to Pompeii, Languages trips to Malaga and Sports Tours to Sri Lanka amongst others.

Happy, homely boarding houses are at the core of School life and the friendly boarding communities enjoy mixing with day girls and weekends full of fun and exciting activities. Full, weekly and flexi boarding are all available and girls can board from the age of 9.

Kent College’s location is a good balance between beautiful, safe Kent countryside and excellent transport links with close proximity to London (40 mins via London Bridge) and the main airports, Gatwick (40 mins) and Heathrow (1 hour).
