The campus is located in Maisons-Laffitte, a green and peaceful retreat just 20 minutes from Paris. This stunning, historic environment gives our 1,600 students a safe and beautiful place to explore, study, socialise, and flourish.

French Bilingual Primary School

Ermitage Paris welcomes children from all over the world into a highly-motivated, well-rounded academic environment. In our Bilingua Primary School (3 to 11 years old), we take an international approach to the French curriculum by incorporating English instruction. Starting from 5 years, children can choose the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme as Ermitage is an IB PYP Candidate School.

Middle School - Collège

At Ermitage Paris, we guide every student towards excellence. Our programmes, following the French Ministry of National Education curriculum, place a strong focus on academic methodology and foreign language mastery. From 6ème to 4ème (Grades 6-8), students are grouped by level so that teaching meets each child's needs, helping our Collège students build confidence and skills at their own pace.

Upper School - Lycée

Ermitage’s bilingual high school programme gives students the tools to shape their own future. From 3ème to Terminale (Grades 9-12), our teaching, in line with the French Ministry of National Education curriculum, prepares students for the French Baccalauréat or the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI), with a strong emphasis on academic methodology and foreign language mastery. The BFI combines the rigour of the French Baccalauréat with an international outlook: students deepen their command of a foreign language and its literature, and study subjects such as History-Geography in that language, building genuine bilingual academic fluency. Recognised as a French Baccalauréat, it opens doors to universities in France and around the world. Thanks to small groups and personalised support, each student is guided according to their own strengths and goals, and leaves school with the confidence, independence and skills to thrive in higher education, in France and abroad.

IB Primary Years Programme

Ermitage International School Paris is approved as a Primary Years Programme (PYP) Candidate School. The IB PYP provides innovative education for students aged 5 to 11, serving as an ideal gateway to our IB Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

IB Middle Years Programme

An academically demanding international curriculum, the MYP at Ermitage distinguishes itself through authentic learning experiences and an interdisciplinary approach. Projects throughout the MYP programme require self-directed inquiry, in-depth understanding and effective communication. This culminates in the Personal Project in MYP Year 5 (MYP5 / Grade 10), which is an opportunity for students to explore an area of personal interest, consolidate their learning and take pride in their work.

IB Diploma Programme

At Ermitage, the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) prepares students aged 16 to 18 to become critical thinkers with both depth and breadth of knowledge. Supported by dedicated IB teachers, students take ownership of their own success and grow academically, physically, emotionally and ethically, ready for top universities worldwide.
