Comprised of 250 students from 12 countries including the US as well as a faculty with both American and international teaching experience, Newman offers young men and women in grades 7 through 12 preparation for success at the university level.

The Newman School, located in Boston, Massachusetts USA, has its campus buildings in the city’s Back Bay neighborhood. Comprised of 250 students from 12 countries including the US as well as a faculty with both American and international teaching experience, Newman offers young men and women in grades 7 through 12 preparation for success at the university level. Founded in 1945 and named after John Henry Cardinal Newman, the school is non-sectarian and serves students of diverse backgrounds. The foundation for Newman academics is the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, which Newman began to offer in 2009. As of June 2017 over 100 Newman students have earned the IB Diploma. During the 2017-2018 school year, Newman introduced its first seventh grade, and is planning on applying for candidacy as an IB Middle Years Program school.Courses offered at the Diploma Program level of 11th and 12th grades include: Spanish AI, SL, HL; French AI, SL, HL; Mathematics Studies, SL, HL, Economics HL; Business Management SL, HL; Psychology HL (online Pamoja); Art SL, HL; English SL, HL; English B SL; History HL; Chemistry SL, HL; Physics SL, HL; Biology SL, HL; Environmental Systems and Societies SL.
