Asian expansion

James Foice, chief executive of ASAP, comments, “My vision when we first launched our Quality Accreditation Programme, back in 2014, was for it to become a truly global scheme for our serviced apartment sector.“It’s absolutely fabulous to see this becoming a reality now it’s been adopted in the Far East through Convido, by Australian operator Corporate Housing (Vic) in Melbourne, as well as in the Philippines by Corporate Apartments International (Manila) Inc.“This means that we now have ISAAP/ASAP quality accredited operators in some 130 cities worldwide, in 12 countries across four continents, which consolidates our position as the only global quality accreditation programme for our sector.”Mr Foice highlights the importance for operators of securing a quality marque from a trade body to confirm they are delivering a quality product, and to fulfil their duty of care, including health and safety requirements.
