Despite being a non-selective school with no entry examinations, and the majority of the students being non-native English speakers, final results are well above the British national average and the majority of the students go on to higher education in prestigious universities world-wide.In a pursuit of all-round excellence, Music, Art, Sport and Theatre play an integral part in the academic programme and every student is encouraged to realise their full potential. Students with English as a second language are given extra support and rapidly master the challenges of studying in a second (at times, third/fourth) language. The School is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities ensuring optimum conditions for its students. A superb gymnasium encourages participation in Physical Education, as well as a synthetic football pitch and high court for exterior games. Healthy competition exists between the four School ‘Houses’ culminating in the primary and secondary sports days. Students participate annually in national championships for orienteering. The importance of team participation is recognised at school and encourages an ability to integrate into the working world.
