The first ever students to sit their A Level exams at Oxford International College (OIC) Brighton are celebrating their results. More than 70 per cent of grades were awarded at A*- B and 30 per cent of students achieved three or more grades A or above.

15 August 2025Students have secured places to read subjects including Medicine, Robotics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Zoology, Philosophy, Politics and Ethics (PPE), Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Economics at a host of globally renowned universities, such as Imperial College London, University College London, the London School of Economics, the University of Warwick, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Hong Kong.
Year 13 student, Sherman C., achieved 4 A*s and has secured a place to study Medicine at Hong Kong University, while Henry H., achieved three A*s and one A and will go on to study Chemistry at Imperial College London. Viki V., who also achieved three A*s and one A, will go on to read Biochemistry at University College of London. She said: “I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I received at Oxford International College Brighton. I am really proud of what I have achieved at the College and feel like it has been the perfect launchpad for my next chapter.”

The results are the culmination of two years of hard work, resilience, and remarkable growth. Not only are they leaving us with the academic knowledge they need to excel at university, but they have developed a rich portfolio of skills, experiences, and achievements that will ensure they fulfil all their academic and personal ambitions.
“This year’s cohort has an exciting future as innovators and trailblazers but, closer to home, they will always hold a special place in our community as our first ever graduating students. I am excited to see what they go on to achieve next.”
The College offers A Level courses for both British and international students. Throughout a two-year programme of sixth form study, students also benefit from the College’s bespoke Super Curricular programme designed to enhance their university applications through additional experiences and qualifications, including the Extended Project Qualification, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and academic Olympiads.
