The IRN Brexit Series HR Forum provided the ideal platform to discuss the question of immigration, which is at the forefront of many business minds following the government’s immigration paper leak.

With the recently leaked immigration paper being the strongest hint yet of the government’s current thinking on skills post-Brexit, the IRN Brexit Series conference provided the ideal opportunity for HR looking to put thinking around Brexit into positive action.

Brexit uncertainty an HR concern
Event organiser, Mustafa Chaudhry, introduced the IRN HR Brexit forum, explaining that so far, uncertainty has been a key theme throughout the past 12 months.“Yesterday, we talked about what Brexit planning is. Today, we are in to the people aspect. We want to have open, two-way discussions around how HR can respond to the challenges and opportunities of Brexit.”Related stories:

The REC’s Kate Shoesmith, chairing the forum throughout the day, commented at the outset of the importance of garnering the views of employers, “I think the timing for this conference is really good.
