King’s College Frankfurt to open in August 2018

King’s Group is opening a new school in Frankfurt. It will be the first to offer the English National Curriculum in the city and will cater for 600 pupils from the ages of three to 18.

In August 2018, King’s College Frankfurt will open its doors, becoming the first English Curriculum School in the city.The school is located in the northern residential town of Friedrichsdorf, approximately 20 kilometres from the city centre and occupies two four-floor buildings.It will be equipped with an array of both indoor and outdoor facilities aimed to ensure that pupils can benefit from everything that the British system has to offer. Some of these facilities include: an outdoor playground area, a dining room, a sports field, science laboratories, a music room and a library.

About the new school

On opening the school will initially offer places to children from age three (Nursery) to age 9 (Year 5) but year groups will open as these children rise through the school until the school caters up to age 18 (Year 13).There will be ten native British teachers in the first years, expanding to approximately 60 when the school reaches full capacity.

A British education in an international setting
