Queen Anne’s School in Caversham is celebrating another super set of A Level results which continues to prove its credentials in academic excellence. An outstanding 43% of results were graded A*-A and 93% at A*-C. The cohort has secured places at top universities in the UK including Cambridge, Durham, University College London, Bath, Nottingham and King’s College, London. Having achieved top results in Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths and Physics, Victoria Miller, (pictured with her mother) will be joining Amazon's degree apprenticeship programme in Software Development. Victoria's hard work and dedication through months of interviews was all worth it after she was awarded the highly competitive place ahead of 40,000 other applicants. Victoria says ‘The support from the teachers during this process has been invaluable, as they have made sure that I had all the resources I needed to succeed, from practise interviews to help catching up with lessons I had to miss in order to attend real interviews. The Head of Careers and my form tutor Mrs Odell, as well as my Head of Year, Mrs Jones, were especially helpful.’
Hannah Scott has had a highly successful summer. As well as securing her A Level grades to read Business and Management at Durham University, she also competed as part of the GB rowing team for the 2025 ‘Coupe de la Jeunesse’ in Austria, returning home as double European silver medallist.
A further achievement came from Jamie Kwok, (pictured) who achieved four straight A* grades in Computer Science, Further Maths, Maths and Physics.
