Radnor House Sevenoaks celebrates A-Level Success

Today, Radnor House Sevenoaks is celebrating excellent A-level results, with 95% of students securing their university of choice and heading to prestigious Russell Group universities, universities in North America as well as other highly regarded institutions across the UK. The independent day school, which teaches children from the age of 2 to 18, has achieved overall improvements across A-level results for the second year running.

Celebrating another year with a 100% pass rate, some Radnor sixth formers have received the highest accolades, with 53% of grades in this year’s examinations between A*-B and more than 20% of the cohort scoring AAB or better. These students include:
  • Paris T, who achieved AAB will study Law at City University
  • Sam S, who achieved A*AB and will study Mechanical Engineering at University of Exeter
  • Sameer J, who achieved AAB and will study Mathematics at University of Toronto
  • Simon F, who achieved AAB and will study Geography at UCL
  • Mabel C, who achieved AAB and will study International Business Management at Newcastle University
  • Jamie P achieved A*AAB and Morgan B achieved AAB, both are planning their next move
Special praise also goes to Ivan L, who secured straight A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics and is heading to University of Bath to study Maths.Ivan says: "I'm over the moon with my results and I couldn't be more grateful for the support the teachers have given me over the past 8 years.” David Paton, Head of Radnor House Sevenoaks, comments, "I am thrilled to celebrate the achievements of this year's Upper Sixth, with so many students securing their first-choice university placements. These results represent a second consecutive year of improving outcomes at every measure, meaning more students have been able to secure places at the most selective universities.“Our role as teachers is to instil a lifelong love of learning as well as help students to develop the skills and personality to succeed at whatever they choose to do.
