Southbank International School has formally opened a new expansion to their Westminster campus – Cleveland Street.

Southbank International School has expanded their Westminster Campus with the opening of their new Cleveland Street building.

Prior to the build, consultation with staff and students showed that they wanted flexibility, a sense of calm and the chance to bring nature inside. This has been reflected in the fixtures and fittings; from clocks, to living moss walls, art, flooring, paint and wallpaper.

More IB Diploma options
The expansion enables the school to offer more IB Diploma Programme course options including Global Politics, Sports Exercise and Health Science and Design Technology. Cleveland Street marks the school’s fifth campus in the heart of London.The new building, designed with the creative input from Southbank staff and students features five floors of classrooms, common space, and study and learning pods designed to the highest specifications.Prior to the build, consultation with staff and students showed that they wanted flexibility, a sense of calm and the chance to bring nature inside. Investing in education
The building hosts a brand new art room, a large common room on the top floor and a design technology lab in the basement. The new development has freed up some space in the existing Conway Street site, which now features brand new science labs.
