There is something special about achieving Gold, but this one isn’t about a trophy or medal. Bangkok Patana School’s new Secondary Discovery Centre has achieved LEED Gold certification, with 61 points under LEED v4 Building Design and Construction (BD+C). According to the US Green Building Council, it is the highest-rated LEED-certified K-12 school building in Thailand as of 2 November 2026.LEED is a globally recognised standard for sustainable buildings, assessing areas such as energy and water use, materials, waste and indoor environmental quality. For us, the significance goes beyond the certificate. The Discovery Centre is a place where sustainability becomes part of the environment in which students learn every day.As Bangkok Patana celebrates its 70th anniversary, LEED Gold is a proud milestone in our continuing work to create a campus that serves our community today while considering the world our students will inherit.
