With AI now reshaping every industry and transforming the world as we know it, an immersive programme from MIT RAISE is launching in the UK in October to empower the next generation to lead in AI, innovation and entrepreneurship.MIT FutureBuilders is a week-long course that will take place from 26-31 October 2025 at Reddam House School in Berkshire, which is part of the Inspired Education group. Open to students aged 13 and above and with no technical prerequisites required, the course is designed to transform students from tech consumers into AI builders, ready to create the innovations of tomorrow. According to McKinsey & Company, between 60-70% of employees’ time today could be automated with Generative AI and other technologies, while more than two thirds (70%) of companies will adopt at least one type of AI technology by 2030 (McKinsey Global Institute).Students taking part in MIT FutureBuilders will explore the opportunities of AI and design an app that tackles real-world challenges. Guided by MIT-affiliated instructors and mentors, they will learn in a college-like, risk-free environment, gaining personalised feedback and insights while forging meaningful connections with peers worldwide. The dynamic learning experience incorporates immersive, hands-on coding sessions and interactive workshops focused on AI and machine learning. Team-based learning experiences focus on developing and structuring a company based on an app, while the final pitch competition will feature all the teams’ startup ideas with a focus on innovation, teamwork and communication skills. At the end of the course, students will receive a Certificate from MIT RAISE, demonstrating their technical, entrepreneurship and innovation skills, which will further elevate their university application process.

Michael Lambert, Global Education Director of Inspired Education Group, comments:
“In this era of rapid change, it is now more important than ever to explore new frontiers in tech and AI. We are delighted to be hosting MIT FutureBuilders at Reddam House during the October half term, which is a fantastic programme to introduce students to the worlds of AI and app development and will transform young people from tech consumers into the next generation of innovators.”Jeff Freilich, Programme Lead, AI Literacy, MIT RAISE, comments:
“AI belongs to everyone on earth with no exceptions. We all use it, and sooner if not later, we'll all need it. But rather than just be a consumer of AI, we need to be productive builders using the technology lest we lose control of many of our opinions, our careers, and even our pocketbooks. True AI literacy goes beyond ubiquitous online tools like ChatGPT. It’s about thinking, designing and acting computationally. “At MIT RAISE, we’re committed to helping students around the world become AI fluent from an early age, and the MIT FutureBuilders programme is a standout opportunity to start this exciting journey. We’re thrilled to bring the second edition of FutureBuilders to Reddam House Berkshire this Fall.”For more information, please visit the website: https://www.reddamhouse.org.uk/mit-camp?utm_source=linktree&utm_medium=social-mediaAbout MIT FutureBuilders
