The class of 2026 has received upwards of 300 UK university offers so far, including from the
University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, University College London and the London School
of Economics as well as offers from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Royal Academy of
Music and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music. This year, 10 per cent of the cohort received offers
from Oxbridge, with half of all Oxbridge applications successful.Students have also already been offered places at overseas universities including New York University, and the Canadian institutions McGill, Western and Toronto. This year’s cohort will go on to study a broad range of subjects across STEM, the humanities and creative disciplines at their firstchoice universities.Commenting on the students’ achievements, Abbey Jones, Senior Deputy Head 11-18, Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “2026 improves on our 2025 cohort’s success of achieving the highest number of Oxbridge offers since 2017, with even greater numbers gaining offers from the most prestigious universities, and we are tremendously proud of all of our students’ accomplishments. They should take great pride in securing offers from so many prestigious universities, art schools and conservatoires. I would like to thank our dedicated teachers and guidance team, whose expertise and support helped each individual student craft an outstanding application that reflects their unique strengths and talents to stand out in an increasingly competitive environment.”Students at Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form benefit from small class sizes, personalised pastoral care and individually tailored guidance and encouragement to help them reach their potential. Alongside studying three or four A Levels from a rich and varied curriculum, students can choose to pursue the Extended Project Qualification (equivalent to half an A Level) or a Stephen Perse research project, and also benefit from unique enrichment opportunities such as the UK’s largest student-led Model United Nations conference, modern language diploma courses and weekly “uni prep” sessions across all subjects. To learn more about the Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form, please visit: https://sixthform.stephenperse.com/sixthform

About Stephen Perse Cambridge

Stephen Perse Cambridge is a family of schools in Cambridge, Madingley and Saffron Walden educating boys and girls aged 1 to 18. Home to more than 1600 students across its seven sites, the school was founded in the 19th century with support from the 17th century legacy of Dr Stephen Perse, a fellow of Gonville and Caius College at the University of Cambridge, whose Will provided resources for the education of children in Cambridge. Since then, the school has evolved and grown to now provide a complete educational pathway for girls and boys. The school’s mission is to educate and inspire the contributors to tomorrow’s world: intelligent young people with the creativity, compassion, confidence, and conviction to question, evaluate and improve society.
